Breast Lift (Mastoplasty)

Mastopexy (breast lift) and reduction mammaplasty (breast reduction) are somewhat similar. These operations are both aimed at remodeling the breast.
The reduction does this by removing a suitable segment of a large breast and reshaping it. The mastopexy does it by removing skin, sometimes with a
small amount of breast, or may incorporate the addition of a prosthesis to enlarge it (see breast augmentation).

Mammaplasty can improve the appearance of the breasts. In exchange for this improvement the patient must accept scarring
on the lower part of the breasts. This operation also permits the patient to feel better about her figure, to more easily acquire properly fining clothing and
to be more comfortable while engaging in physical activity.

This type of surgery has been practiced for more than 40 years. Maxtopexy is done for aesthetic reasons only. With this procedure, Dr. Binur will aim at improving the shape and symmetry of the breasts.
